Tanev's injuries are just too much of a problem and some GM will believe they can make a consistent player and person out of Kane as he is still in his prime.

I do agree that a top-5 pick in this draft is easily worth Kane. More than Kane actually. It is ALL about gathering as much cheap young talent as you can in the NHL now.

He's worth Reilly, Marner and a pair of firsts to Toronto, but that's because they're a contender and their window is open right now.

Yes. He played great against Tampa both times. It wasn't his fault his team couldn't score any goals. I think he even has a few playoff shutouts.
